Restoran Asam Batu Laut Food Review

Image
Restoran Asam Batu Laut Type: Seafood Restaurant Location: Kampung, Batu Lapan, Tanjong Sepet, Selangor in Morib From Kuala Lumpur: 1:30 hours Third time here at Restoran Asam Batu Laut (亚三峇都港海鲜饭店) in Morib.  It took about 1:30 hours to get there from KL. Make sure you use Waze. There is a large parking space outside the restaurant. Large dining area/hall. All tables are round and good for groups and families. Can smell sea breeze but not recommended for swimming or dipping.  It is run by a Malaysian Chinese family and you will notice the kids helping out with the serving. The food was great and freshly cooked. Have variety of choices and styles of cooking and flavors.  The chilli crab was fresh and well seasoned, but I noticed it was unevenly cooked.  The Mongolian Prawns is a must-try. Soury-sweet. My favorite was the oyster omelet. They were very generous with the oysters.  Fried squid, the batter was light and the squid was cooked perfectly.  The nasi g...

Food Styling for Photography - Juice

How did I created this? 1. Visualize what style, angle and editing you want for product. 2. Clean the glass, add any water base food color, add water, tape tip of the glass, spray the glass with water   and add ENO or Paracetamol that creates bubbles. 3. Shot the angle of choice. Then edit.

Covid-19 Malaysia 06 April 2021

As of today Kuala Lumpur is on Conditional Movement Control Order or CMCO. Travelling interstate and inter district is  allowed with valid reason. Businesses such as restaurants have already restarted again dine in but with conditional capacity. Vaccination is also on on going and they have started with front-liners. Public need to register in an application called My Sejahtera if they are interested to get vaccinated, and it is for free. Foreigners are also included in Malaysia vaccination program, however it is not so soon yet, Malaysians of course are the priority. Schools are also starting their face to face classes. UNITAR, my university, I will start blended mode of classes April 12, 2021. I am quite excited to go back to normal classes but at the same time I am also worried because covid cases still at surge. Malaysian government on the other hand is doing an excellent job in handling this pandemic. Standardised protocols and SOP's are updated time to time.

Swab Test Experience - Malaysia Feb. 18, 2021

Image
Today marks my 4th time to experience swab test, covid-19 antigen through nasopharyngeal swab. I still feel very uncomfortable and I always cough after the swab. First time that a doctor did my swab, told him to poke my left nosetril and he is the worst, it took him longer than the usual 5 seconds swabbing. I blow my nose after and got teary eyed, i thing its just normal. Again it takes only 3-5 minutes for the discomfort to disappear.  One thing that I don't like is that it takes 1:30-2:00 for the result to come in. Im not really sure how fast the result to get in. Lucky I have my laptop and phone to kill the hours of waiting. All the results are negative, Im expecting it though.  Anyway, they extended again the MCO (KL & Selangor), kinda frustrating actually. Hopefully it will ease the cases soon.  I want to go back to UNI and travel freely around Malaysia. Go to gym and jog.  I have nothing else to say. hahaha

ANXIETY CAUSED BY MCO | 15 Feb. 2021

If you have been reading my previous post, I am a full time student and part time private nurse. MCO was imposed early January and extended to February, Im not really sure if it's still be prolonged until end February. Physical classes were on hold and done virtually, on the other I need to stay with my patient to avoid inter district travelling which is not allowed during MCO.  For the past few weeks it was easy, working, doing my online class, jogging and cooking. Im getting used to it actually. Although I'm missing my own routine and my house, I know I can still go on with this kind of situation Im facing now.  But one fine night, I felt anxious, I cant sleep, whenever I close my eyes I think of so many things. I chest is heavy, keep pacing on the bed, i'ts just feel so heavy. Im not really sure what I am feeling, most of the time when I'm experiencing this kind of feeling, all I knew is that my mom or my parents thinking about me or something is about to happen....

I am writing this while I am sitting beside my patient here at Beacon Hospital. Yes I'm in the hospital accompanying him, 3 nights in row now. I need to undergo Nasal swab every time I need to go on duty. The feeling is quite uncomfortable. I  always cough as soon as they remove the stick in my nose. I got teary eyed as well but i doesn't last long, maybe  just only 3-5 minutes of uneasiness. I haven't had a good sleep since I been accompanying him in the hospital. I have a virtual event to settle and some assignments. It shouldn't be hard if he is not hospitalized, well it's part of being a nurse need to adapt well with patients. So we had a virtual event this morning, it is called photo booth competition event. It went well actually, first time to organized a virtual event.       On the other hand, MCO still on here in Malaysia until 18 February. Been waiting for soo long to end this movement order to end. I want to go back really on m...

MCO Malaysia January 31, 2021

Well, just another random story guys. Today is the end of the month, 31st January. However, the cases of Covid here in Malaysia seems not going down. I heard there are some back logs, not really sure. Although it's good that tests' is on going, I still feel it's not safe outside. I have been "locked up" with my patient house for 3 weeks now, I really miss my room and my usual daily routine. I go for a walk and jogging during my off days around TTDI. It is a nice place to walk and jog actually. Sometime before I will finish my exercise I stop over to a Ramly Burger stand for my dinner. It is actually worth the price, not bad. There are a lot of joggers around here at TTDI, nice to see people distressing themselves from lockdown. I don't usually run but I am training myself now. I slowly can run a longer distance now. At first my legs and thighs were painful the first day but eventually getting use to it. What can you guys recom...
